Dear Room 17 Families,Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year! I look forward to meeting all of you in the coming weeks. Please remember to mark your calendars: We will have Back to School Night on August 28th at 6:30 p.m. This is an important evening where we can discuss curriculum, standards, grading, upcoming projects, as well as field trips. I am looking for 5-6 parent volunteers to assist students with a special art project Wednesday, August 29th from 12:50 -2:30 p.m. No special talent or experience are required; just a willingness to get a little messy :)! Please send a note with your child, or you may email me at slc5001@lausd.net.
