Dear Families of Room 17,
The year is off to a fantastic start! The students have done a wonderful job learning the classroom procedures and rules, and they have proven themselves to be an enthusiastic community of learners. In fact, they have named our room- Room 17, Home of the Smart-attacks and Mega-minds. Watch out!
Here are a few brief announcements and reminders for the week:
* Back to School Night has been moved to Tuesday, September 11 at 6:00.
* Robin Moriarty, Lisa McGuiness, Sharon Hirata, and Kathryn McGuire have all signed up to volunteer for Wednesday's (12:50-2:30) art project. There is room for one or two more volunteers. Please let me know if you can come.
* The Voices Within program officially begins this Thursday. You should have received an introductory letter about the program and a photo release form last Thursday. Please send back the release forms asap.
* No school on Friday 8/31 or Monday 9/3.
