Classroom News for the Week of 12/15

News and Upcoming Events: 

Dear Families- 
A few reminders and updates about next week's performances:

Monday 12/15 - The fourth graders will be performing "Sleigh Ride" at the Winter Program at 1p.m. in the MPR. We are asking all students to please wear solid colors (no words or logos visible). If possible, we would like the children to wear dress shirts, dresses, or sweaters instead of T-shirts.They may also wear a wintry scarf. No hats, please.

Wednesday 12/17 - Theater "Inform-ance" 10:45 in the MPR. Students will showcase the work they've done with Ms. Beret this year in drama. We are asking all students to wear dark, solid colors. All black is preferable. No words, logos, or graphics please.

12/17 "The Feast Of the Grizzlies" - Theater Informance, MPR 10:45 a.m. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come see the work the students have been doing in drama this year.  There will also be a dress rehearsal at 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday 12/16 if you are unable to come Wednesday.

12/17 Grade 4 Holiday Luncheon Room 11, Noon. Please sign up to send a dish for the party. You may use this link to view the sign-up sheet. Thank you!

Classroom News for the Week of December 8th

News and Upcoming Events: 

Thanks!: A huge thank you to Susanne, Doug, and Natalie for all the work they did on building, sanding, and painting theater boxes for the school. Our class will use these in our play next week and they will be available for all MWE students in drama class to use. Thank you!!!

Needed: We need some help cutting eye holes from our bear masks. Kai-Ti has done a great job getting us started! If you have an Exacto knife and can come in any time this week to work on the masks, please email me at slc5001@lausd.net. Thank you!

12/2 and 12/3 Scholastic Book Fair - Students who would like to purchase items from the Book Fair should bring money in a sealed envelope (labeled) or a wallet. Students are responsible for the safe keeping of their money and items.

12/5 Wolf Pack Run Fundraiser - Grade 4 runs at 11a.m.
