Classroom News for the Week of June 2nd

News and Upcoming Events:

* 6/2 - 6/5 Early Dismissal 12:50 p.m. Brunch served 10-10:30 a.m. More items will be coming home. Students should continue to bring backpacks through Wednesday.

* 6/3 Class Party - Students have signed up to either pitch in for the cost of pizza ($3) or to bring an item. Please have items at school by 11:30. Make sure sure to mark any dishes, serving items with your name.

* 6/4 Grade 6 Culmination MPR 8:30 a.m.

* 6/5 Last Day of School; Teachers vs. 6th Graders Game; Report Card #3 sent home.

The Roman Numeral "Bee" continues! We had 6 finalists who could not be stumped on roman numerals up to 1,000. the challenge continues on numbers through 5,000. Congratulations Finalists!

News and Upcoming Events:

* 5/26 Memorial Day Holiday. No school.

*5/27 PTA Volunteer Coffee and Pastries. Come get a huge "Thank You!" for all you do! 8:15 at the Parent Center

* 5/28 Last Night of Homework :)

* 5/28 and 5/29 The Scripps Spelling Bee. The Bee will be shown on ESPN. Check out www.spellingbee.com for more information. 

* 5/30 Room 17's BIG CLEAN! Lots of work will be coming home on Friday. Students may want to bring a reusable shopping bag to carry items home.

* 5/30 Retirement Party for Mrs. Mori & Mrs. Brunelli - 2:30 MPR. All are welcome!
