Classroom News for the Week of December 1st


News and Upcoming Events: 

12/2 and 12/3 Scholastic Book Fair - Students who would like to purchase items from the Book Fair should bring money in a sealed envelope (labeled) or a wallet. Students are responsible for the safe keeping of their money and items.

12/5 Wolf Pack Run Fundraiser - Grade 4 runs at 11a.m.

12/11 Jazz Assembly for Students

12/15 Winter Program, MPR, 1p.m.

12/17 "The Feast Of the Grizzlies" - Theater Informance, MPR 10:45 a.m. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come see the work the students have been doing in drama this year.  There will also be a dress rehearsal at 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday 12/16 if you are unable to come Wednesday.

12/17 Grade 4 Holiday Luncheon Room 11, Noon. Please look for a sign-up link coming out next Monday 12/8

12/22 - 1/9 Winter Break - School closed

For the next three weeks we will reading out of our Treasures anthology. This week we will read realistic fiction: "When I Went to the Library". We will use Depth and Complexity Icons (Ethics) to examine the main character.

Writer's Workshop: Writing Personal and Persuasive Essays

This week's mini-lessons are: Using "Freewrites" to Generate Ideas
