Classroom News for the Week of May 2nd

Thank you to the mystery donor who sent skin color markers and printer ink. They arrived just in time! :)
  • 5/9 One minute speeches due. Time yourself, practice, practice, practice, and memorize your speech!
  • 5/10 Volunteer Tea  
  • 5/13 Living History Museum: Students will be presenting their Famous Californian Research- The "Museum" will be open Friday, May 13th from 1:15-2:15 in the MPR. We hope you can visit and see the results of the students' hard work!
  • SBAC Testing Dates: 5/11, 5/12, 5/13, 5/16, 5/17, 5/18. We will be testing at the start of the day, prior to the recess break. Please help by making sure your child is rested and has had a nutritious breakfast.
  • 5/19 Open House 6 to 7 pm
  • 5/27 Field trip to Natural History Museum 
  • 6/1 Rm 12's "Informance". MPR Please come see the theater skills the children have been honing this year with Ms. Beret. Stay tuned for time - most likely 1:15 pm

  • Living History Museum: Students will be presenting their Famous Californian Research- Save the date: The "Museum" will be open Friday, May 13th from 1:15-2:15 in the MPR. We hope you can visit and see the results of the students' hard work!
  • 4/25 Students will be bringing home instructions for preparing their one minute oral presentation. Please discuss the assignment with your child, and email me if you have any questions or concerns.
  • 4/27 Administrative Assistant's Day - Thank you, Nora and Lilly!
