Reading:

We will begin reading Newberry Medal Winner "Bridge to Terabithia" this week. We will be learning Literature Circle roles as we read.

Grd.4 - The Astronaut and the Onion - realistic fiction. Make inferences and analyze character

Grd.5 - The Night of San Juan - realistic fiction. Analyzing character, identifying problem and solution.

Weekly Roots:

Writing:

Personal narratives continued and sentence combining

Art:

Using elements of shape and line to draw owls.

Homework:

• Make sure you are reading at least 30 minutes each evening & marking approximately how much you've read on your reading calendar.

It will ask you for State, City, School, then teacher's first and last name - Safini Convey, fill in student's name and birth date and you are all set. Next time you visit just sign in, and you can start browsing and shopping immediately.
