Reading:
We will begin reading Newberry Medal Winner "Bridge to Terabithia" this week. We will be learning Literature Circle roles as we read.
Grd.4 - The Astronaut and the Onion - realistic fiction. Make inferences and analyze character
Grd.5 - The Night of San Juan - realistic fiction. Analyzing character, identifying problem and solution.
Weekly Roots:
prefixes - ex, anti, contra
Writing:
Personal narratives continued and sentence combining
Art:
Using elements of shape and line to draw owls.
Homework:
- Make sure you are reading at least 30 minutes each evening & marking approximately how much you've read on your reading calendar.
- Weekly roots points are due each Friday
