Classroom News for the Week of February 10th

Updates and Reminders:

* Congratulations to all of the Spelling Bee participants! We had 23 participants from room 17, and 17 from room 11. It was clear that all of the students studied hard for the Bee. They should ALL be proud of their efforts. After nearly an hour and half of spelling, we came down to the final five that could not be stumped! A huge congratulations to the final five: Jayden, Clive, Linden, Jade, and Keira!

* Valentine's Day is this Friday, February 14th. We will pass out and read valentines in the afternoon. Students may attach small treats/candies to their cards, but please do not send goodie bags, cupcakes, cookies, donuts, etc. Also, we have a student with peanut allergies. Please avoid products with peanuts or provide a substitution for her. Students brought home a list of class names last Friday. Thank you!

* Breakfast in the Classroom (BIC) has been postponed until late February.

Your donations of the following items would be much appreciated!
