Lesson Focus: Understanding Complex Feelings. Please turn "Home Practice"signed by an adult by Friday each week.

Math: 

This week students will be taking  LAUSD's Quarter 1 Math Assessment. This week's homework will be review and problem solving.

Multiplication Madness (Fact Practice) 

Language Arts:

This week students will be taking LAUSD's Quarter 1 Language Arts assessment. Students will be reading articles related to archeology, answering comprehension questions, and write a fictional narrative. Throughout the unit, students will discuss their thinking in classroom and small group discussions and will take notes.

Writer's Workshop: Unit 1 Personal Narratives

Students are publishing their personal narratives.

Greek and Latin Roots:
Please study the meanings and spellings of these ten words. You will have a quiz on Friday.
