4/1 Cesar Chavez Holiday- No school; No orchestra this week
4/2 Famous Californian/ Living History Museum: Your child will have a brief research assignment for tonight's HW. S/he will choose a Californian to learn more about. This should be someone who has made a significant contribution to society. Your child will be writing a letter to nominate this person to be on a US postage stamp. S/he will also be reciting a first person 1 minute speech as this person at the Living History Museum. This should be a person your child feels strongly about. Additional directions and details will be coming home Tuesday evening. To facilitate careful selection of the person, no other HW will be assigned on Tuesday.
