5/6 - 5/8 SBAC Math testing. Please make sure your child is on time. We will be testing first thing in the morning. A healthy breakfast and a good night's sleep will help your child do his/her best. Thank you!
5/6 One minute, 1st-person biographical speech of famous Californian due.
Speeches may be typed or handwritten. Students will read their speech in class and get feedback from me. Please have your child read aloud his/her speech several times to ensure it is exactly 1 minute (give or take a few seconds). Students should take feedback, revise if necessary, and begin working on memorization.
5/10 Speeches memorized. Students should be prepared to recite their speech in class without notes. Turn in final copy of speech- make sure to keep a copy to practice with at home. This assignment will be your child's language arts homework this week.
5/16 - The 4th Grade Living History Museum - filled with famous Californians - will open from
8:30 to 10 a.m. in the MPR. Parents are invited to come in at any time between 8:30 and 10, tour the museum, and listen to the presentations.
5/23 - Open House -6 pm
